Russel Brand is a British stand-up comedian, Hollywood icon, recovered drug and sex addict, spiritual guru, and all around entertaining guy. The style in which he communicates is almost impossible to ignore, and I find it absolutely fascinating. Russell is insanely sharp-witted and speaks so creatively I often have to pause to take back track and actually here everything he said. By no means am I his biggest fan, endorser, or anything of those sorts, but the charm and presence he has carries in every situation.

At the base of his character, I believe, he just pours out pure energetic fun into the environment and builds off of it.

More specifically, he's very articulate and very well thought out. If he's talking about say Shakespeare, he knows the facts, why it's relevant, and how to adapt it to the conversation at hand. He rides on the edge most people never dare to step to. He allows himself to be a man with no boundaries, and because of the way he delivers what he says it only adds to the fun. He never needs anything from people, he's there to share and have a good time. He takes that skill and stretches it out in so many different ways.

Recommendation: Watch or listen to this podcast with Joe Rogan and Russell Brand. The Joe Rogan Experience is a great podcast talking about a lot of the same topics I do. This recent hang-out with Joe and Russell shows his deep spiritual, comedic, witty, and conversational sides.

Watch this video of his funniest, wittiest, flirtatious, comedic, and energetic moments (older Russell)
